January 6th, high of 72 degrees
While I'm a little scared that it's so warm in January, I can't say no to a beautiful day like today. Lorin and I set out walking this morning with no destination in mind, squinting into the sun and grinning at how weird this weather is. We headed south, walking through Adams Morgan, and saw this little guy:
A lot of people tie up their dogs on the sidewalk while they go into the stores on this street, but not many people bring along doggy beds and teddy bears for their puppies.
Lorin and I split up in Dupont Circle and I headed up to the zoo to try out my new camera. I had more luck with reptiles than mammals (mammals move too much):
