Visited Travis, Jared, and Broo in Stillwater this weekend. It was Jared's birthday, and we stopped in Edmond on the way back to Stillwater to pick up an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. They didn't have dry ice, so the girl working there offered to put it in the "super, like, really cold freezer" for five minutes so the cake wouldn't melt before we got home (Stillwater was still an hour away). Impressively, it worked.

Jared Birthday

On Monday my mom and I drove to Haskell to visit Beth and Clayton. It was interesting. They always have something new going on. When we arrived, Beth was making dinner, and Clayton was in the shower. A few minutes later, Clayton was running out the door wearing a bullet-proof vest and slipping a gun into its holster. Beth goes "oh yeah, Clayton's working for the police department now." So... yes. Ah well, at least it's less-sketchy work than "the business." They've also gone in with some other people to buy a house and fix it up to sell. Apparently there were several houses that needed to be moved off of some farm, so they were being sold cheap. This is what $5000 will buy you in Haskell, Oklahoma:
