A long day, but a good day

So, several months ago I signed up for a couple of service days this spring with teams of Americorps and City Year alumni. One of the service days is this Saturday, and we'll be working at an elementary school doing unspecified activities (if it's anything like the service days we used to plan in City Year, there will be gardening, painting, trash-pickup, and possibly mural-painting). The other service day is on May 5th, and I don't yet know what site I'll be at, but I think the activities will be similar. For this one, volunteers are asked to set a fundraising goal of $100 (the money goes to Greater DC Cares). So if anyone wants to give a couple bucks, you can donate online).
