We have two rooms open in our house that we need to fill very quickly. To maintain gender balance, we need one guy and one girl. To have a good pool to choose from, we want to meet 10 of each. To get a good feel for each person, we want to spend 20 minutes exclusively talking to each person. So tomorrow we're going to be interviewing 21 people back to back from noon to 7. And then we're having a house party oh my god I'm going to die...

Indeed. Since we're getting three new people in the next couple of weeks, Dave keeps referring to this as a "sea change"... which unnerves me a bit since I think that expression refers to the rotting of bodies underwater. Hopefully we'll have a better sort of change.

Does 'sea change' originally come from something about rotting corpses under the sea? I have no idea where we got that expression.

I looked it up and it's from The Tempest:

Full fathom five thy father lies:
Of his bones are coral made:
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
