IEEE InfoVis 2006

It's been a long day and I have to get up really early again tomorrow, but this conference is pretty interesting so far. There are a lot of interesting accents floating around and I have to say that it makes me grin (on the inside. mostly) to hear people talk about the "walue of wisualisation."

Ahhh, I wish I was at InfoViz. There's a guy frm my group there, Orkan, doing something in the Art Show(?) at the conference.

Cool. I haven't checked out the art yet, but apparently they had 26 entries and only accepted 5, so it sounds pretty selective.
